Jadeon was born in 1977 in a remote Northern town in Manitoba . Jadeon is of Cree, German and Swiss descent.
Jadeon moved to British Columbia to reunite with his mother Half Moon and family.
His mother was very adamant on the importance of learning about his culture and living as close to a traditional way of life as possible.
Jadeon inspired by his mother Half Moon has since been entrenched in the culture, history and carving techniques of First Nations peoples.
Jadeon attributes his vast knowledge of carving to his adopted uncle and mentor Whey-Hey-Ukt-Chuck. Whey-Hey-Ukt-Chuck was a Nuu-chah-nulth master designer/carver.
